Malaika-Arbaaz split: Salman Khan's last ditch efforts fail

Mumbai, Mar 12: Malaika Arora Khan has made up her mind to divorce husband of 18 years Arbaaz Khan.

The rumours of the split have been doing rounds for a couple of weeks now. They got additional fuel when Malaika was a no-show at her sister-in-law Arpita Khan Sharma's baby showers at Mumbai and Dubai.

Malaika was also absent from sister Amrita Arora Ladak's birthday party in Dubai just because Arbaaz Khan was in attendance.

The 42-year-old model-host-celebrity moved out of their Bandra home with their 14-year-old son Arhaan and have rented an apartment in Khar, reports a leading English daily.

Salman Khan tried to patch up the things between Arbaaz and Malaika. In a last ditch effort, he called up his sister-in-law to make her understand that ending the marriage of almost two decades is not a good idea. But seems like Malaika has now made up her mind.
