Bengaluru, Nov 11: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday said that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will contest all the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) wards in the next elections.
Interacting with the media, after visiting the Aam Aadmi Clinic in Shantinagar here on Wednesday, he said that Aam Aadmi Party volunteers have started this free clinic even though they are not in power. "When the Aam Aadmi Party comes to power in the BBMP, there will be 3 such clinics set up for each ward," he added.
BJP, Congress and JDS, have been in power in BBMP but have never benefited the people of Bangalore. He said that AAP is confident of coming to power in the upcoming BBMP elections and ensured that they will transform Bangalore completely.
AAP, Karnataka State convener Prithvi Reddy said that people do not need a government which does not provide basic amenities like healthcare and education. He said that, according to a poll conducted, around 70 per cent of people in Bengaluru need governance similar to AAP led Delhi Model. He also added that this will happen soon when the Aam Aadmi Party comes in power in the upcoming BBMP elections.
Bengaluru President, Mohan Dasari, Aam Aadmi Clinic in-charge Rani Desai, General Secretary of State, Sanchit Sahani, State Media Head, Jagdish V Sadam and Bangalore Vice President, Suresh Rathod were also present at the press conference.
