2 kg gold goes missing from locked house in Mysuru

Mysuru, Sept 1: Mystery struck the city of palaces --Mysuru -- after a strange case of theft came into the light.

Two kg gold jewelries went missing from a house which was locked from inside.

According to police, owner of the house, Vijay Kumar, a businessman was tested positive for COVID-19 and was admitted to hospital for treatment. On Monday afternoon, his mother also tested positive for the virus and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Taking advantage of the situation, someone known to the family, made good with two kg gold but without using a duplicate key.
