Mangalore, February 22: The Mangalore division of Lokayukta police will conduct public hearings based on written representations submitted under the Karnataka Lokayukta Act at various places in the district from Tuesday.
Complaints in prescribed application forms available in office of Lokayukta police should be submitted to authorities of Lokayukta along with an affidavit and should pertain to delay on part of government officials in attending to public work.
The hearing will be held from 11am to 1pm at Pavoor Gram Panchayat office in Mangalore taluk on February 22. On February 24, public hearing will be held at government guest house, Sullia from 11 am to 1 pm and from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm at Puttur government guest house. On February 28, the public hearing will be held at Belthangady government house from 11 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 4.30 pm at Bantwal government guest house.
People, apart from the above public hearings may also approach the Lokayukta police authorities with complaints and petitions pertaining to public issues or delay on part of authorities concerned in addressing public complaints or grievances during office hours or contact the Superintendent of Police, Lokayukta (0824-2429197), Deputy Superintendent of Police (0824-2443420) or Police Inspector (0824-2427237).
