Scorpio puzzle!
Meanwhile, a strange revelation that the Scorpio (KA19 ME1414), which was used by the assailants to murder Kabeer last Friday, was being used by a police constable, who was indeed a bodyguard to a prominent political leader, has paved way for many suspicions.
The records say that the Scorpio, which was found deserted in Malemar, belongs to one Abbas K son of Haji Beary, a resident of Mundaje in Belthangady. Police are also investigating whether the vehicle had been stolen by the conspirators before the murder.
