Mangalore, March 10: United Foundation, a City based philanthropic organization released a new Cricket World Cup song “Jeethega Thu” at Press Club here on Thursday as a tribute to Indian Cricket team wishing them all the best to win the World Cup.
Fr Valerian, Chairman of Sandesha released the album CD.
The song is composed by Kerala based Musician and cricket fan Joe Jee Mathew.
The album is produced by United Foundation, which works in the field of education, empowering students from the backward communities to pursue higher education.
Tobin Joseph, Managing Executive of United Foundation said that since the members of the Foundation belong to SCS College of Nursing, the Hindi album is the first of its kind from a Mangalore nursing students' community.
He said this motivational track is a fast number that gets one charged up with the simple yet powerful lyrics penned by well known violinist Padma Shankar.
Benny Dayal has rendered his energetic voice for the song. The video of this track revolves around cricket and was directed by ad film maker Prashanth Murali. It was shot on the beaches of Kerala and in the sand dunes of Saudi Arabia early this year, he said.
The video shows the scene of an old man joining children playing cricket indicating that this game is loved by all and there is no age limit to experience the true spirit of the game.
