Mangalore, March 11: Possibilities of constructing a fly over at Hampankatta Junction were discussed at a meeting convened by Deputy Commissioner Subodh Yadav to review the development works of the Mangalore City Corporation.
However, no specific decision was taken in this regard at Thursday's meeting, said an official press release issued here.
Yadav directed the MCC officials to complete road concrete works at PVS Circle by March 15 by carrying out works at night too.
It was decided to convene a meeting of all officials concerned shortly to discuss different aspects on constructing a bus stand near Mahaveera Circle.
Yadav said officials should not give scope for parking LPG bullet tankers on Surathkal-MRPL Road.
He said drivers and cleaners of such tankers were using the roadsides as their homes and were disturbing others. He sought a report from the corporation to this effect.
DC also instructed the engineering wing to pay bills of contractors who had completed road concrete works, within 20 days of the completion of projects.
