Mangalore, July 18: Dakshina Kannada district unit of Sri Rama Sene staged demonstration in front of the office of Deputy Commissioner here on Monday to denounce the serial bombings in Mumbai.

The last Wednesday's triple blasts shook India's financial capital killing at least 19 and injuring around 130 people.

The protesters had tied pieces of black cloth on their eyes to ridicule what they called lack of a powerful law against terrorism.

The protesters pointed out that since 1993 this is 14th terrorist attack in Mumbai.

In a memorandum submitted to the President Prathibha Patil through the deputy commissioner, SRS demanded that perpetrators of the latest blasts be brought to book and action taken against those nabbed for perpetrating similar terror attacks in the country before.
