Ullal, August 4: The website of Sunni Vidyarthi Sangha (SVS) was launched recently by U D Abdul Hameed, leader of Dakshina Kannada Sunni Centre, Dammam unit at the SVS office in Alekala here.
“DKSC is operating in Gulf nations to promote the principles of Islam. Students of SVS are role models for everyone,” he said.
The programme started with du'a by Haneef Sa-adi of Saudi Arabia.
The society will accept us only if we contribute something exemplary to it, said U S Hamza, President, Alekala Jumma Masjid.
Sayyad Ziyad Tangal, Member, Karnataka State Sunni Yuvajana Sangha commended the work of the members of SVS.
Ameer Alekal, Al-Jazeera Organisation, D Badr Haji, Member, Ullal Darga Committee, Shamsuddin Alekal, Secretay, SSF Alekal were present among others.
