The seer has complained that the miscreants have taken away crockery items and furniture from the Mutt.
“Jogi community members who belong to minority community are severaly hurt due to the attack. The attack is an insult to the historic Navanath Zandi institute of Haridwar,” said the seer in his complaint.
The incident took place on July 14 and the seer had filed the complaint immediately, but as the local police did not take any action, the seer approached the DGP. He has demanded in his complaint to reimburse the damaged amount and reconstruct the temple.
Akhila Karnataka Jogi Samaja Abhivrudhi Mahamandali has condemned the attack and has urged to take legal action against the culprits. Mahamandala Vice-President B Gopalappa has alleged that miscreants have tried to frighten the 85 year old seer and the members of Jogi community.
