Car enters tailoring shop in a serial accident

Padubidri, August 8: In a serial accident, a Tata Indica after being hit by a speeding Maruti Omni, lost control and rammed against a stationary two wheeler and then entered a tailoring shop near Corporation Bank ATM in the town on Sunday morning.

The Indica car was travelling towards Udupi when it was hit by an Omni coming from Mosque Road. Driver of Indica lost control and hit a TVS Apache parked in front of Durgaprasad Jewllers. Then, the car entered P N Tailoring shop.

The shop was damaged by the incident and owner of the shop P N Raviraj escaped with minor injuries.

The bike owned by Haneef, which he had parked minutes before the accident was completely damaged.

The surroundings had comparatively less crowd as it was a Sunday. Padubidri Police visited the spot for inspection.
