Mangalore: The district unit of Shri Rama Sene, distributed pamphlets among the students of St. Aloysius College on Friday as part of its awareness campaign against drug abuse.
Students from other states, districts, and countries, come to Mangalore to pursue education and hardly fall prey to drug peddlers, the members of Shri Rama Sene alleged.
They also linked the purported drug mafia to the "terrorist organizations", who, according to them, use girl students for “Love Jihad.” A number of girl students have lost their lives, they said.
The pamphlet requested the students to stay away from drugs and warned them that many students are now getting addicted to drugs. It also accuses managements of colleges and the district administration of taking no action against drug abuse despite several cases coming to light recently.
The pamphlets have been issued by Madhusudan, the district president of the Shri Rama Sene.
