Mangalore, September 12: A bus owner, who was allegedly having fun in his car with a married woman, crashed into three stationary auto-rickshaws and an electric pole, as he attempted to escape being caught by the moral police near Kotekar village in Mangalore taluk.
It is said that the young bus owner had developed close friendship with a married woman, who was working as an accountant at the former's office.
Disturbed by this relationship, a group of people belonging to Bajrang Dal, hatched a plan to teach a lesson to the bus owner. When he took his girl-friend to Someshwar Beach on Sunday evening as usually in his Indica car, they surrounded the vehicle.
In a bid to escape from their hands, the man drove carelessly and lost control over his vehicle.
When they began to chase, the confused car driver hit three auto rickshaws and an electric pole, before surrendering at Madyaru near Kotekar
No case
Although local police rushed to the spot soon after the man and his girl-friend were caught red handed by the Bajrang Dal men, it is said that they reached to a compromise at the police station.
