Mangalore, October 15: Now management education demands application of modern technology which is very much a part of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in addition to what they learn in their regular academic programme, said. Ravindra Kini, Director, ABS, Bangalore.
Addressing the students of JKSHIM on the launching of ERP at the Institute, he said the management students should be ready to accept the fruits of application of all technological devices having result oriented approach. The aim of ERP is to ensure that ultimately the resource which the enterprises have to use should be judiciously combined.
The technology in ERP is nothing but taking right decisions at the right time for theright planning, he added.
Mr Kini highly appreciated the policy of the Nitte Education Trust for providing ERP to management student free of cost. He hoped that other management institutes follow this example. Ms Jane Birkegoard Thomsen, Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance Corporation, Denmark, spoke to the audience online.
Mr. Dinesh Badagandi, CEO, Varnaaz Technology, Bangalore, explained the launching of the Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance Program.
