Mangalore, October 17: Karnataka excise officials have seized around 216 litres of Goan liquor in a raid on the outskirts of the city on Monday.
Acting on a tip off received by excise superintendent H Puttaswami, the sleuths of excise intelligence wing recovered the liquor cans hidden in a cluster of bushes near Padil railway over bridge, sources said.
The value of liquor seized is estimated to be Rs 44,000.
K Mohan Rao, excise sub-inspector, Mangalore division has registered a case and has taken up investigations.
