Mangalore Photography Club holds photography workshop

Mangalore, December 20: The Mangalore Photography Club organised a day-long photography workshop at Hotel Moti Mahal in the city on Sunday. This was a basic photography course meant for beginners as well as advanced amateurs.

The workshop was attended by 45 people. The resource persons were Dr Krishnamohan Prabhu, Rohit S Rao and Dijaraj Nair.

The workshop included theory sessions which dealt in topics like composition, lighting, focusing and photography concepts. The practical sessions dealt with handling the camera and a detailed instruction on using various cameras, lens and accessories. The participants had a hands on training in portrait, outdoor and other thematic photography.

The organisers also had an impressive exhibition of world class camera equipment, lens's, tripods and a host of accessories.

The Participants were also introduced to specialised fields of photography like wildlife and nature photography, portrait, still life photography, tabletop photography and macro or close-up photography.
