Mangalore, December 26: Nitte Education Trust in association with 'Life is Calling Sports' and 'Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project' will be organising a half marathon and 10 km walk on January 29 in Mangalore.
In a press release issued by trust here, stated that the marathon is to promote a healthy lifestyle along with celebrating the rich culture of the Dakshina Kannada district.
The top three winners in 21 kilometres Half Marathon (Men and Women- Open Category) will be awarded with cash prize of Rs 30,000, 20,000, 15000 respectively.
The first place winner (Men & Women) in the senior category (above 50 years) will be awarded Rs 10,000.
The top three winners in the 10 kilometres Run (Men and Women) Open Category will receive Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively. The first place winner (Men & Women) in the senior category (above 50 years) will be awarded Rs 7,500.
