Mangalore, December 31: Rahath Welfare Society, Ganjimat organised an education awareness programme at DK Urdu Higher Primary School, Ganjimutt recently.
More than 400 students and their parents participated in the event.
Speaking after inaugurating the programme Khaleel Ahmed, President of Jamiyyatul Falah urged that Muslims should send their children for higher education, so that community can produce more and more professionals.
He also asked people to change their priorities according to the situation, and asked parents and students to utilize government schemes.
JCI National Trainer Mohammad Anwar along with his team of JF Trainers interacted with students and parents in different groups.
Ms Lubna Zakeeya spoke about Islamic values and parenting among the ladies. Ms. Amreen Sheikh, Dietitian interacted about the food habits.
Abdul Wahab Secretary, JF Mangalore Taluk, Fazlur Rahman, Suhail, Toufiq were present.
