Announcing this at a press meet here on Saturday, Vincent Pinto, President of Balaga, said Mukhyamantri Chandru, Chairman of Kannada Development Authority would be inaugurating the function at 6 pm.
Mr Chandru will also be launching a learning centre for the Kannadiga children on the occasion, he said.
Barathanatyam and folk dance teams from Karnataka would present cultural programmes in front of the audience, he said.
Mr Pinto also said that apart from this cultural event, Balaga would hold year-long programmes to preserve and promote the art, literature and culture of Kannada land. The programmes include celebration of festivals like Ugadi and Dipavali, he added.

Rama Mogaveera, president Kenya Kannada Sangha and Sadananda Shetty, chairman, Sri Devi Education Trust were also present in the press meet.
