Mangalore, February 3: A two day National level Fest 'Art Beat' organised by St Aloysius College Faculty of Arts was inaugurated at the Eric Mathias Hall of the College on Friday, February 3.
The theme of the fest was 'Greenomania' which was aimed to spread the message of better green world for future.
As many as 16 different events such as Ad Making, Photography, Mime, Street play, Graffiti, Wealth out of waste, Movie Spoof, Instrumentals, Best Contender, PPT-Painting, Gaming, Quiz, Best Personality, Debate and Dance were held.
Deputy Chairman of New Mangalore Port Trust T N S Murthy inaugurated the fest. Rector of St. Aloysius Institutions Fr. Joseph Rodrigues SJ presided over the inaugural function.
The Valedictory function of the fest will be held on February 4. District In-charge Minister Krishna J Palemar will be the Chief Guest, Senior Environment Officer Karnataka State Population Control Board C D Kumar will be the Guest of Honour and Principal of St. Aloysius College Swebert D'Silva SJ will be presiding over the function.
