Mangalore, February 23: Following the footprints of the companions of final prophet Muhammad is compulsory for every Muslim to remain as a good Muslim, said senior Islamic scholar Maulana Shaikh Faiz Muhammadi.
He was speaking at the publicity meeting organised by South Karnataka Salafi Movement at Town Hall here on Wednesday to promote the two-day national level Jamiat Ahle Hadith conference to be held in Delhi on March 2 and 3.
“The companions of Prophet had completely dedicated their lives, property and everything to the religion of Islam. A Muslim cannot ignore their model at any cost. Those who violate their path, cannot be a good Muslim”, he said.
Inaugurating the meeting Baba Khan Arshad, Secretary of Bangalore based Ahle Hadith Dakhanis Trust laid emphasis on the importance of gaining and spreading the knowledge of the Qur'an and Hadith.
South Karnataka Salafi Movement Central Committee President Ahmed Ansar, Vice President Aboobakar Pandeshwar, General Secretary Bashir Ahmed Shalimar, Advisor Naseer Ahmed were present on the occasion. Secretary Ismaeel Shafi welcomed and compered the programme.
