Mangalore, March 2: Workers of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa HIndu Parishat vented their ire against Union Minister and Congress leader M. Veerappa Moily for calling the saffron outfits "evil forces".
They burnt the effigy of Mr. Moily and warned that the organisations will continue their protests until the Union Minister tendered an apology. "We will not allow him to set foot in Mangalore," warned Sharan Pumpwel, the district convenor of Bajrang Dal.
Leaders of VHP and Bajrang Dal, M.B. Puranik, Jagadish Shenava, Harish Amtadi, Gopal Kuthar, among others, were present. The protesters also raised slogans against Moily at the meeting held in front of the DC office on Thursday.
