Mulki, April 19: Alleging that the State government has failed in all fields KPCC President Dr G Parameshwar said that Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda has no control over the administration.
KPCC President Dr G Parameshwar, scion of Mysore family Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar and others take part in 'Mahavishnu yaga' at Mulki.He said that the CM has not initiated action against the Deputy Commissioners who failed to utilise the funds released by the Central government.
Speaking to presspersons after taking part in 'Mahavishnu yaga' conducted by astrologer Chandrashekar Swami, at Mulki on Monday, he said the government has failed to take up work in drought-hit taluks. “The state government should listen to the woes of the PU teachers who have boycotted the valuation of answer scripts,” he added.
Dr Parameshwar said “if Chief Minister fails to respond to the problems faced by the people, then he should tender resignation to the post and face the verdict of the people.'” Three teams led by the Congress leaders will complete the survey of drought-hit taluks on April 21.
A detailed report on the drought situation will be submitted to the UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi during her visit to Tumkur on April 28.
