Mangalore, April 27: The much-awaited Tulu entertainment film 'Bangarda Kural' on Friday hit the screens in twin districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.
In Mangalore the film was screened in Jyothi Cinema, where its director and producer Ram Shetty and hero Shivadhwaj themselves welcomed the audience in the morning.
This is the 42nd Tulu movie and third by veteran stunt master Ram Shetty, who has directed Daareda Seere and Badkere Budle in the past.
The movie is about a youngster who marries his teacher's daughter and then moves to Mumbai. The new film has a mix of sentiments and stunts.
Popular actor Shivadhwaj has played the role of the hero while Bhojpuri actor Paki Hegde and Namruta Hegde are the heroines in Bangarda Kural.
Director Shetty has introduced his son Anandaram Shetty has officially introduced to the film world through Bangarda Kural, where he has played villain's role.
The film also featured Harish V. Shetty, who is popular in the Hindi tele-serial “CID”.
The movie is expected to be released in nearby Kasargod, Tirthahalli near Shimoga, and in Surathkal in the second week of May.
The producer has also planned to screen the film in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Nasik.
