Kasargod group clash in Dubai leaves seven injured

Mangalore, April 30: An incident involving a clash between two groups in Dubai in connection with clashes in Kasargod has been reported.

Seven people have been reportedly injured in the clash.

Manoj, Sridharan, Pradeepan, Sudhesh, Saju, Suvesh and Ravi, all residents of Kadappura in Kasaragod, are said to have been attacked by a team of men hailing from Nellikunje, Talangere and Pallam using sharp weapons. The injured have been admitted in a hospital in the Dubai.

The injured have complained that the assaulters stormed into their residence located atop Malabar Super Market building in Deira and attacked them. They have also complained that the assaulters destroyed valuables in the room.

As per the statements given by the injured, they were attacked because they spoke about clashes in Kasargod.
