Mangalore, July 28: Yenepoya Foundation, Mangalore, has invited applications for its Yenepoya Excellence Awards 2012.
A press release issued here stated that the foundation proposed to give academic excellence awards to students who had excelled in SSLC/PU and undergraduate courses in 2011-12. A few awards were common to all students and some were reserved for Muslim students. The awards were limited to those who had studied in any recognised institution in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts and Kasargod taluk.
Those who had scored 80 per cent and above marks in SSLC or PU and 70 per cent and above in B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., B.C.A., B.B.M., B.Ed. and Afzal-Ulma examinations were eligible. Applications should be sent along with a passport-sized photograph enclosing an attested copy of the marks list of the examination indicating the medium of instruction, name and address of the institution studied and contact phone number to P.C.M. Kunhi, convenor, Academic Excellence Awards Committee, Yenepoya University, University Road, Derlakatte, Mangalore 575018 by August 25 superscribing on the envelope “Application for the Academic Excellence Awards 2012”.
