Mangalore, October 18: Four students of SDM College at Ujire who had gone missing a since October 12 were found in Mangalore on Wednesday.
Bopanna, Udaya, Nutan and Nitish Raj, pursuing first year diploma course at SDM College, had gone missing after they had left for college last Friday.
When they were found in Mangalore, it is being presumed that the four youngsters had left for Mumbai from Mangalore in the train and had returned in the same route via Goa.
A complaint had already been logged by Belthangady police. By having traced the calls made by them, the police caught hold of them when they returned to Mangalore.
After questioning them, the foursome revealed that being weak in studies and lack of attendance had caused them to panic and run away from home, said the police.
The students have now been sent to their respective homes with their parents.
