Mangalore, November 28: The first additional district and sessions court on Tuesday rejected the bail application filed on behalf of television journalist Naveen Soorinje.
Police had made Mr Soorinje the 44th accused in the homestay attack case that was allegedly carried out by Hindu Jagaran Vedike members in Padil on July 28.
Lawyer S Balan appeared for Naveen.
Earlier, the III JMFC had rejected the bail application filed by Mr Soorinje, who was arrested in connection with the case on November 7.
