Mangalore, December 1: Talent Research Foundation (TRF) will organise a friendly gathering of inter-religion trade and business partners, and invites information regarding the same by December 15, said TRF advisor Mohammed Rafeeq.
Speaking at a press meet held here on Saturday, he said that the foundation had planned to organise the gathering with the intention of strengthening the relations between partners belonging to different faiths and spreading the message of goodwill and harmony among them.
Hindu-Muslim, Muslim-Christian, Hindu-Christian or Hindu-Muslim-Christian business partners running a joint business are invited to the friendly gathering. On the day, partners running joint businesses with each other for long periods of time will be felicitated on the occasion.
“As we require information regarding such partners, we invite people to approach and provide us with it by December 15”, he said.
The Foundation has also undertaken programmes for the welfare of differently-abled persons. For ten disabled persons who are able to walk, TRF will provide assistance necessary for setting up small-scale businesses, to enable them to become self-sufficient and independent. These beneficiaries will be selected on the basis of their necessity. Interested persons could avail of this assistance, and submit their application by December 15, said Mr Rafeeq.
TRF president Riyaz Kannur, Vice-president Saiduddin Bajpe, advisors Suleiman Sheikh Beluvai and B A Akbar were present at the press meet.
