Mangalore, Jan 27: District-in-Charge Minister C T Ravi has said that nobody had right to question Assembly Speaker Bopaiah's disappearance from the State for three days.
“Nobody can question his disappearance as he too has a private life to enjoy”, said Mr Ravi, replying to the queries of media persons in the city on Saturday.
He said that BJP is confident of winning the impending Assembly election as the Kannadigas have developed a strong support for Narendra Modi.
“I am sure the voters in Karnataka are aware that they will have to bring the BJP to power in Karnataka, if they wish to see Modi as the Prime Minister,” he said.
He also said that the government will follow the instructions of the Governor whatsoever. The State government is ready to prove its majority if the Governor asks for it or if the opposition party moves no-confidence motion.
He expressed confidence over the government completing its five-year term. “The chief minister has convened pre-budget meetings and preparations are going on to present the people-friendly budget that will have a farsighted approach,” he said.
