Orphanage kids define their meaning of 'love'

Mangalore, Feb 15: The Department of Mass Communication, St. Aloysius College organized an essay writing competition at Prashant Nivas Orphanage, Jeppu on Thursday on the theme 'What love means to me'. The children wrote essays based on the theme and also drew pictures to accompany their essays.

The competition is a part of 'Seize the Day- Empowering Minds' a one day workshop which will be held on February 19, 2013 at Samanvaya premises, Urwastore, Mangalore. The resource person for this workshop is RJ Vishwas of Big fm.

'Seize the day' is a one day workshop aimed at boosting the morale of the less fortunate and making them confident members of society. This workshop focuses on developing leadership skills, boosting self esteem, overcoming fears and achieving dreams. Through the two hours of the workshop the resource person will conduct interactive sessions and try to inculcate values conducive for a healthy and holistic growth of the children.
