Mangalore, Apr 27: Even as the situation is terse along the Line of Control due to intrusion by Chinese troops in Ladakh, here is an example proving that love has no boundaries as lad from Mangalore accepted a lady from China as his wife.

Adarsh Felix Lobo, a resident of Vamanjoor and Tangksiyo Lyan (Tanya) from China entered wedlock in presence of Mr Adarsh's family and relatives in a church here in Vamanjoor on Thursday in a joyous ceremony according to religious customs and traditions.

Adarsh, who had been employed in Wipro in Bangalore, had been summoned and recruited by a Chinese company as a senior consultant. It was there that he met and fell in love with her. However, it was Tanya's liking for Rabindranath Tagore and writer Chethan Bhagat that helped the two come closer.

“We met for the first time in a metro rail on February 5, 2011. Being a huge fan of Chetan Bhagat, Tanya began conversing with me about the writer once she learnt that I was an Indian. After getting acquainted with each other, we exchanged visiting cards and gradually became friends. Few months later, I brought her to Mangalore and introduced her to my family as a friend. Much later when my family began searching for a bride for me, I spoke of my wish to marry Tanya. Although there was a lot of resistance initially, our families finally agreed to the proposal, which led to our marriage yesterday,” revealed Adarsh.

“Since I am currently employed in China, we both will settle down there,” he said.

In a significant development, a special court tasked with handling cases against Members of Parliament and Members of Legislative Assemblies (MP/MLAs) has ordered that a First Information Report (FIR) be filed regarding the Muda case.

Additionally, the Karnataka Lokayukta, which is an anti-corruption body, has been tasked with investigating allegations against Siddaramaiah, who is reportedly involved in the case.

The court instructed the Lokayukta (an anti-corruption authority) to provide a report within three months. It also ordered the relevant authorities to file a First Information Report (FIR) regarding the case.

Judge Santhosh Gajanan Bhat issued the directive, compelling the Mysuru Lokayukta police to commence an investigation following a formal complaint lodged by Snehamayi Krishna.

The Karnataka Lokayukta in Mysuru is required to carry out the investigation under Section 156 (3) of the Criminal Procedure Code, which mandates the registration of a First Information Report (FIR).
