Kollur: Kannada actress Shruthi marries Chandrachud

Udupi, Jun 6: Actress and KJP leader Shruti has entered into wedlock, for a second time, with Chandrashekhar Chakravarthi alias Chandrachud.

After having got separated from her first husband and Director S Mahendar, Ms.Shruthi tied the knot for the second time at about 9:30 am on Thursday.

The simple wedding ceremony held at Kollur Mookambika temple in Udupi district was attended by her relatives and very few close friends and well wishers.

Following her break-up with Mr. Mahendar, Ms. Shruti had developed closeness with journalist and childhood friend Chandrachud. Now, after getting married to him, she has taken her relationship with him a step further.

Speaking to media persons, the actress said that the fact that she has got married to Mr. Chandrachud on the day of her daughter's birthday has brought her immense joy.

On the other hand, Mr. Mahendar has also began his second innings after getting married to his relative Yashodha.
