Any applicant who has not yet received his/her EC may approach the Embassy along with a copy of his/her passport on Saturday June 29 or Sunday June 30, 2013 for verification and collection of ECs, stated a release from the Embassy of India.
All applicants who have submitted their EC applications in Dammam or nearby cities may collect their ECs from Indian International School, Dammam by Sunday June 30, 2013.
In case, they cannot collect their ECs by that day, they may visit Embassy of India, Riyadh on Monday July 1, 2013 to collect the same. Similarly any EC applicant who submitted his/her EC application in other cities may approach Embassy of India on Saturday June 29; Sunday June 30; or Monday July 1, 2013 for collecting their ECs. All those applicants who are in DNF (i.e. who did not submit their passport details) and have not received their ECs may also approach Embassy on Saturday June 29 or Sunday June 30 to check the availability of their ECs.
Embassy officials deployed at Tarheel and Labour Offices in Riyadh and Dammam and at Riyadh Airport will continue their services in the coming weeks. All volunteers registered with the Embassy are requested to continue providing their services in coordination with the Embassy officials deployed at these venues.
In view of the decision by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to shift the weekend to Friday and Saturday, Embassy of India, starting from July 1, 2013 will observe Sunday to Thursday as working days and Friday and Saturday as closed holidays in consonance with the Saudi official working days. VFS centers in Riyadh will also follow same schedule of working days.
