Bajpe, Aug 25: A nonresident Indian who went on to marry another woman without divorcing his first wife had to lose his face as his first wife and family created pandemonium, thereby stopping the impending marriage from taking place.
Abdussamad, the man in question had married Fathima Neha and following compatibility issues, the two had a strained relation. However, Abdussamad, without going in for 'talaq' and legal divorce procedure, went on to marry another lady.
The marriage was fixed on Sunday at Bajpe Jum'a Masjid. Samad's family was making the arrangements for the wedding in full swing.
When the wedding was about to take place, Fathima's family came to the venue and objected to the wedding.
This led to prolonged altercation between three families in question.
The bride's family was shocked by the entire situation because Samad had kept them in darkness with regard to his first marriage.
This added to the tension and when the situation was about to take a violent turn, Bajpe police arrived at the spot and transferred the case to Pandeshwar Women's police station.
The bride's family opted to break the marriage when all efforts to sort the issue through dialogue failed.
In this way, the dreams of Samad of marrying again crashed miserably and now he will have to face a case against him, which has been filed by his first wife.
