Mangalore, Sep 8: Ullal police have arrested three persons in connection to murder of rowdy-sheeter Neelu alias Neelaiah (33).
The arrested are Chidu alias Chidananda, Santhu alias Santhosh and Krishna Talapady.
However, the police are on a look out for another accused Jaggu alias Jagadish.
Neelu, a resident of Nadar of Madhyar was hacked to death on Wednesday night near Madhyar junction while he was on his way back home.
Eye witnesses and Neelu's friends Sampath and Dinesh in their complaint said that a gang waylaid Neelu's car, pulled him out and attacked him with weapons.
The complainants who said that they were right behind Neelu's car when the murder happened, named Chidu, Santhu, Krishna and Jaggu in connection to the case.
The police have seized the car used for the crime, which is believed to have been bought by accused Krishna Talapady from Goa.
Krishna Talapady, who was running a hotel in Goa had returned to his native six months ago in the same car.
The cops have interrogated the three and have started operation to nab the remaining one accused.
