Belthangady, Nov 1: CPM and DYFI activists tried to picket the Rajyothsava celebration at Belthangady on Friday, keeping forth the demand of handing over Saujanya murder case to CBI.
The activists tried to stage a stir holding black flags and disrupt the Rajyothsava celebration.
They said that the CID officials have handed over a 12 page report on the case to the Home Ministry, and in the report they have mentioned that accused Santhosh Rao has confessed to the crime.
The activists said that Saujanya's family have expressed that they have no faith on this report. Hence the organizations staged a stir demanding that the case should be handed over to CBI for probe.
