Mangalore, Nov 15: Two persons who went missing amidst the turbulent waves at Rambagh beach in Goa are yet to be traced.
Ashraf and Naeem siblings basically hailing from Kundapur have been living at Vasco in Goa over the last few years. About ten days ago, they had been to Rambaugh beach for an outing with children.
The outing turned tragic when Ashraf's youngest son Shahaan and Naeem's son Sayyed Thabish ventured into the sea and were about to be drowned. In a bid to save the kids Ashraf and Naeem plunged into the sea. Seeing the confusion, Ayaan (13), older son of Ashraf too ventured into the sea.
Meanwhile, a youth named Mujiburrahman from Shimoga who was with his family at the beach for a holiday also ventured into the sea to save the drowning boys.
However, the episode turned upside down when Mujiburrahman and Ayaan went missing while Shahaan and Thabish were rescued successfully.
Seeing that his older son was not to be traced, Ashraf suffered a cardiac arrest and died on the spot.
Ironically, Mujiburrahman, who without sparing even a second thought plunged into the ocean to save little lives was to get married this month end.
