Bengaluru, Sept 30: Karnataka Government Police authorities have sounded high alert and have intensified bandobast throughout the state as a precautionary measure in view of pronouncement of the final verdict on Babri Masjid demolition case on Wednesday.
As per the orders, taking out processions, celebrations of victory, public gathering and public address are banned in the state.
According to Police sources, sufficient forces have been deployed in vulnerable places and tight security maintained throughout. Trouble mongers will be taken into custody if they indulge in breaking law.
Kalaburagi City Police Commissioner N Satish Kumar said that the force has been alerted to be vigilant and also keep an eye on social media networks and warned the people not to create any nonsense in the social media to ensure peace and harmony.
According to a report from Belgaum, heavy bandobast has been made in the district and high alert sounded in the villages bordering Maharashtra and Goa States.
