Bengaluru, Sep 24: The main Opposition Congress party in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, has decided to move a No-Confidence motion against the Bharatiya Janata Party Government led by BS Yediyurappa.
Speaking to media, after chairing the Congress Legislature Party meeting here on Thursday, Opposition leader Siddramaiah informed, "A decision had been taken at the CLP to move a no-confidence motion".
Stating that, ever since the BJP had formed its government from the backdoor, had indulged in unprecedented corruption practices, and the people of the state wants it to go, he said that "The financial status of Karnataka had touched rock-bottom as all the developmental works had become standstill".
Charging that the BJP government in Karnataka is adopting anti-poor and anti-farmer policies, he said, "Chief minister had pushed the state to the pool of irrevocable debt trap".
"The state government had raised over one lakh loan ever since it came to power," he said.
