Mangalore, July 20: Surathkal police have seized a Scorpio which was reportedly illegally transporting eight cattle to the slaughterhouse. Acting on a tip off, a team of Surathkal police intercepted the Scorpio near Hosabettu on National Highway 66 which was coming from Udupi to Mangalore. The accused fled on seeing the police. The seized cattle were sent to Pajeer Go-Shale.
