Karnataka: 24-year-old man killed by leopard while attending nature’s call

Koppal, Nov 5: A 24- year man was killed in a leopard attack near Anegundi village of Gangavati taluk of the Koppal district of Karnataka today morning.

According to the police, Huligesh, a cook by profession who worked in Durgadevi temple of Anegundi, was killed reportedly in a leopard attack at the nearby forest this morning.

Police said that the leopard attacked the man when he went into the forest to attend the nature's on the neck, before dragging him towards the bushes around 100 meters away. His remains were found near Anegundi Maygot, police said.

Anegundi Tahasildar K Renuka and a forest officer visited the spot and inquired about the incident, the source added.
