Jubail, April 9: India Fraternity Forum, Dammam Karnataka Chapter organized ‘Sammilana - Cultural Fest – 2012’, a programme exclusively for its members on recently at Marafiq beach camp, Jubail.
The cultural fest was aimed at giving a break to the continuous stress and mechanical living style of people in this part of the country and striving to improve the moral values of Islam.
The fest was inaugurated by Ashraf Puttur, President India Fraternity Forum Dammam , Karnataka chapter. The fest consisted of various competitions like Qirath, Singing, Duff, Skit also some games were conducted for children and ladies. Teams from Khober , Dammam , Al-Hasa, Jubail participated in the cultural fest.
Khobar team emerged as winners while Dammam team ended up with runners up in the fest. Moosa Kutty (Coordinator India Fraternity Forum-Dammam) and Shareef (President , India Fraternity Forum-Delhi chapter) distributing the prizes concluded the importance of having mutual understanding between each other which can be done with such events now and then so that it gives relief from the stress filled life of people working here and earning for their families. More than 200 members gathered in the fest.
