Dubai Jun 24: Shirooru Association celebrated its first anniversary at Karama Bangalore empire restaurant recently.
President Sayyed Ibrahim welcomed Praveen Shetty of Fortune Group of Hotels, Satish Venkataramana of Chilli Willy Trading, Manegar Meeram Saheb, Dr. Hassan who are the prominent persons of the Shirooru Associations on to the stage.
Krishna Billava welcomed the guests and gatherings while Fayaz K.B. delivered financial report of the Association. Sadan Das briefed on the achievement of the association so far.
Speaking on the occasion Praveen Shetty urged the Association to extend its good work to Kundapur too.
Dr. Hasan who is involved in lots of social welfare works and treats poor patients for free at Shirooru urged Shirooru N.R.I’s to join in large number to develop their home town.
Shirooru association felicitated Manegar Meeram Saheb and Abdul Kadar for their outstanding contribution to the Shirooru society. While Giving the president’s speech Sayyed Ibrahim told “ It’s not important how many years you have completed as association its important how much you have achieved”
Projecting the future plans of the Associatiom, he said that requesting Government to sanction a first grade college to the Village, construction of new bridge, facilities for clean and neat Shirooru and working towards achieving “ Suvarnagrama Grama” benefits are some of the important plans.
