The programme was launched in holy city Madinah on July 12. India Fraternity Forum Madinah unit organised iftar party to Indian expatriates sponsored by Al-Abeer Medical group in Madinah. Large numbers of Indian expatriates participated. Feroz Ahmed Jeddah, member of IFF western Province, Karnataka chapter, briefly explained activity of IFF with video presentation. On the same day IFF Tabuk unit arranged a separate iftar party in hotel Shahab near to King Faisal Masjid for Indian expatriates. More than one thousand Indian expatriates participated from various states of India Including women’s and children.
Hakeem Kerala explained the present social and financial condition of Indian Muslim community. Irshad Ahmed UP, IFF member, northern State, Jeddah, briefed about the importance of fasting and activity of IFF. Abdul Majeed Kannangar compered.
On July 15 IFF Karnataka chapter organized a mega iftar party in Yanbu city for the expatriate community. Including children and women, around 500 people from various parts of India took part. The programme began with Quran recitation by Mohammed Kaizer Kannangar. Ismail Kalladka, President, IFF Yanbu Karnataka chapter, welcomed the gathering. Feroz Ahmed Jeddah, member of IFF western Province, Karnataka chapter, explained the social and financial condition of Indian Muslim community. Abdul Maajid, social worker, was present. Sajid Yanbu, Secretary, IFF Yanbu Northern States, compered. Shadaf Ahmed UP proposed the vote of thanks.
