Dammam, Sep 5: On the occasion of 67th Independence, India Fraternity Forum, Eastern Province, organized ‘Independence Day Cup’ Cricket Tournament to celebrate the Independence Day in which large number of NRIs participated.
Total of Nine Teams from Dammam, Khobar and Jubail participated in the tournament in which Jubail Attackers emerged as Champions while Dammam Warriors as Runners. Brother Ashraf, President of India Fraterntiy Forum, Eastern Province delivered the message of Independence.
Before commencement of the match there was spectacular Freedom March by members of all the teams from Eastern Province with Tricolour Indian Flag.
Jubail Attackers Team Captain Hidayath received Champions Trophy and Shabeer of Dammam Warriors received the Runners Trophy. Javed Bajpe was emerged as Man of the Match while Hidayath was emerged as Man of the Series for their All Round Performance.
