National Anti-Doping Agency is likely to release the report of boxer Vijender Singh's blood and urine samples latest by Friday.
Vijender, who has been accused of consuming heroin, submitted his blood and urine samples last week to National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA).
However, the blood and urine tests may not help ascertain if the boxer consumed heroin. The drug does not last for more than 12 hours in blood and three days in urine. Only a hair sample of Vijender's can now prove whether he took heroin or not, since traces of the drug can be found in hair for upto three months. NADA says they do not have the facility to test hair samples.
Meanwhile, Vijender's management company Percept has not yet renewed his contract, which expired last month. Percept signed the Beijing Olympics bronze medalist in 2009.
The management company's joint managing director Shailendra Singh has said, there will be a three-month 'cooling-off' period before a new deal is arrived at, if the boxer is not proven guilty.
