Bengaluru, Dec 14: The stalemate in this Karnataka capital ended, after the employees of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) withdrew their four-day old agitation, with the drivers and conductors plying buses on roads on Monday.
Speaking to newspersons at the Freedom Park here, Employees Federation head Kodagihalli Chandrashekar, also a farmers' leader, said the government has assured in writing to solve the problems within three months and hence, the four-day agitation was called off.
KSRTC Managing Director Shivayogi C Kalasad arrived at the Freedom Park with a letter signed by Transport Minister Laxman Savadi, with nine demands out of 10 listed in the letter.
Mr Chandrasekhar said the services have started and will be fully operative by Tuesday.
Official sources said that the services have started resuming throughout the state and stalemate on the public transport system has ended.
