Dammam: Indian Social Forum organized an online training program on Panchayati Raj on 21st November 2020. The program started with ISF State General Secretary Mr Imran Katipalla welcoming guest and all members online from the region Dammam, Khobar and Al Ahsa.
Program was restricted to limited members and ISF State President Mr Sharief Jokatte, ISF Block presidents and secretaries were present in the program. Altogether 56 ISF members from Dammam, Khobar and Al Ahsa were taken part in the training program.
Mr Akram Hasan, a member of SDPI State council, gave a brief introduction about Panchayat Raj system.
He expound to the members for an hour on panchayat raj system, its facilities and grants, reservation policies in practice, their meetings and boundary of authority. The talk was informative and paved eagerness in members to learn more about politics. We recommenced with question & answer session instantly after the speech which preferably clarified doubts of the members. The program was concluded by Mr. Imran Katipalla with vote of thanks.
