Doha: Dr Safwan Ahmed of Mangaluru who is on a short visit to Qatar was facilitated by ‘Qatar Indian Social Forum’ on Monday, November 4 2019.
Dr Safwan MD, DM, had secured 6th Rank in Rajiv Gandhi Health Science University in 2011 and honoured with gold medal. Recently he was also awarded with Dr Anisya Vasanth Memorial Award for the Best Neurology Student of the year 2019 with gold medal.
On 16th September 2019 he was honoured at National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru in the presence of Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan and institute Director Dr. B.N Gangadgar.
Dr Safwan presently employed in Father Muller’s hospital – Mangaluru.
Dr. Safwan Ahmed’s wife Dr Fathima Raeesa, his father-in-law Mumtaz Hussain, Forum’s president Nazeer Pasha, SKMWA- Qatar President Engr. Majeed Mudabidre, Ayyub Ullal among others were present. Ziya ul Haq, vice president of Forum delivered key note speech and Isaq KL was MC.
